What a year, huh? 2020 was full of uncertainty, frustration and loss. We have spent nearly an entire year of our lives trapped indoors, working from home and/or doing school online, wearing masks and staying six feet away from other people. Nothing in the past year has gone according to plan for anyone! But through it all, we have all had one thing to keep us going during this tumultuous year: music. I firmly believe that music is the one thing that unites us all, no matter what language you speak, the colour of your skin or the gender you identify with (or lack thereof). While there has been a severe lack of live shows this year (for obvious reasons), there has definitely not been a shortage of new music! And now that the year is over, it is finally time for me to compile my list of my favourite songs of 2020!
Quick note: Just like last time, the songs are listed by their release date. It was hard enough deciding which 20 songs to include, let alone ranking them!
